Sunrise Trail Blazing

Rotarians are trail blazers. We lead in our communities. We lead in the causes we support. We try to put service before self. Always. A few weeks ago, members of Birmingham Sunrise Rotary did a little literal trail blazing.
 
A few weeks ago – before this so-called "Spring" we're having – a handful of hearty Sunrise Rotarians descended upon Red Mountain Park and got to work. The group divided into two teams – one tackled removal of privet, while the other team worked to actually delineate a new path. It was hard work but very satisfying according to most accounts. The results? New trail, less privet, and some tired Rotarians.
